I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Been Doing a Bit of Spray Painting.......

This is a sneak peak as to what I have been doing out in the Patio and Back Yard......

A LOT of spray painting!!!

First, I want to Thank Maria Elena, over at Our Home Away From Home, for featuring my post,  The Front Yard is Ready for Summer, ,from last week's Tuesday's at Our Home Party!!
Thanks so much, Maria Elena!!

Please stop by and link up to this great party!

I decorate the Patio and Back Yard with a lot of bright colors but some of the things that I painted a few years ago were starting to fade so I did a few make overs.......

This is how this corner looked last year......
This yard sale table ( $5.00) was painted white.......

I decided to give it a bit of pizazz and spray painted it a bright yellow!!
You may also remember this which was out in the yard last year????
It also got a new coat of a pretty green spray paint!!
This plant stand was already painted blue and still looks okay but I did paint the little pot holder pink......
It was green before.....
The wicker furniture is about 15 years old and even though it is resin, it was getting harder and harder to clean and wasn't really looking white any more.......

So I bought Valspar Plastic Spray Paint in a gloss White which is good for resin furniture and painted all my white wicker!!

Last year, looking a bit dingy......
This year, looking a nice pristine white!!

I also painted the blue bird cage a bright orange!
And placed it on a bright green tray that a neighbor gave me!

And these 3 candle holders took on a new look too!!

 Orange for this one......
Bright Yellow like the table for this one!!
And this one is a brunt sienna ( you will see more of this color later on)
Here it is on the table again!
Here is the orange one on my bright green Patio table.......
The Bird Cage turned into a planter will be saved for another post......

And here is the bright yellow one....
This Chair/Planter was out in the yard last year......
I decided to move it into the Patio and gave it a coat of a pretty pink!!
This is how this side of the Patio looked last year......
The chair is so much better looking with a new coat of white paint!!
This is my filing cabinet ( $5.00 at a yard sale) that I repurposed for storage for garden tools and other garden things like gloves, hats, Miracle Gro, etc.
After 2 years of not being under the awning and being in the elements, it desparately needed a new coat of paint.....
I painted the base the same Burnt Sienna as you saw I used on the one candle holder and one drawer green and the other a lighter yellow!!

And I moved it under the awning to protect it better from the elements.....
I found stickers that I had used for other projects and had enough to spell "Garden" for the top drawer which is where gloves, etc. are stored........
But did not have enough letters to spells "Tools" or "Gadgets" which is what is in the bottom drawer but I did have the right letters to spells "Gizmos"!!
 So "Gizmos" it is!!  LOL!!

I also painted this chair pick the same light yellow.......
It is perfect for holding this angel rain gauge.......

This black wheel barrow planter was out in the front yard for several years......
It got a new coat of orange paint and a new green flower box and was moved to the back yard.....
These 2 Fairies sat out on my Garden Bench in the front yard for several years and the weather took a toll on them........
I had a can of spray paint called sand so I used it on the fairies.......
And they are now sitting on the front porch!!

I think I am done spray painting now.......

Maybe...

And you wonder why Joe calls me the Queen of Spray Paint??????

LOL!!

In my next post, I will be sharing my 2 new Fairy Garden Projects!!
So I hope you will be back to visit soon!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
